The Stamford Advocate reports ( HTTP://BIT.LY/U4JFNI ) that Irving Pinsky withdrew the lawsuit but says he might refile. He says he received new evidence on security at Sandy Hook Elementary School and is reviewing it.
Pinsky last week asked to sue the state, saying his client suffered “emotional and psychological trauma and injury” during the shooting rampage that killed 20 children and six adults. He says state officials failed to prevent his client from foreseeable harm.
The state attorney general said Monday there appears to be no basis to support the suit or the state’s liability.
cannot get a more jewish name than Irving Pinsky if you tried
What a kiddush hashem.
If the harm was so easily “foreseeable”, then why did the parents send their child to the school in the first place? This is clearly a ridiculous lawsuit.
he probably realized that once he faces a judge he will be disbarred from practicing law….what a disgrace trying to make $$$ from a horrific tragedy and trying to blame the school district…..This school is NOT in Brooklyn where you need armed police officers at every door…..How in earth did Pinsky even come up with such Chtzpah to sue a school district who is mourning their beloved students they teached.?
I don’t understand what’s the big deal about him filing a lawsuit on behalf of a victim. The victim suffered harm and if the school should have had better security is a matter for the court to decide. Tons of people sued after 9/11, what’s the difference?
