Anyone who heard him speak could feel his love and goodness. We lost such an amazing gadol.

What a loss. I only heard him live a few times but I was so impressed by his breadth of knowledge and the love for klal yisroel. He was a giant in avoidas Hashem. Yehi Zichroi Boruch.

I once asked him the derivation of his last name. He said that he did not know but that it spells “adverb” backwards.

His tapes were wonderful. He was clear and pointed. Gave me a better understanding of how to learn mussar from chumash.

He advocated healthy living and encouraged alternatives to standard medicine.

He actually had an amazing sense of humor and was a warm, amazingly caring person, in addition to his vast Torah knowledge and high level of Avodas Hashem. A huge loss. BD”E.
