Independence USA poured $2.2 million into anti-gun ads backing former Illinois legislator Robin Kelly and attacking former Rep. Debbie Halvorson and other Democrats who competed Tuesday in a special primary.

The PAC targeted Halvorson because she opposed an assault-weapons ban that Kelly supports. Kelly won.

Now Bloomberg’s group is making plans to use the same tactics around the country. Some political experts are skeptical that it will work.

They say the Chicago-area election had too many unusual circumstances in an area that’s already Democratic and largely anti-gun.

Bloomberg says Kelly’s win reflected the public speaking out against those who stand in the way of tougher gun restrictions.

Bloomberg spoke after meeting with Vice President Joe Biden and senators from both parties to discuss efforts to curb gun violence.

Let him waste his money on shoo-in election where it doesn’t matter anyway. That way, he gets to feel good about himself, thinking that he bought an election, advertising companies get extra business, and close elections can be decided by the people.

Great news! This is the way things work in the USA – it’s all about the $$$, and the only way to fight NRA fire with fire. Kudos to Bloomberg for putting his money where his mouth is.

In 1938 when the Germans entered Austria, the Anschluss, had their been a proliferation of guns like today ij this country I would not have been alive and thousands either. I Austrians would have shot a Jew no questions asked. The beat Jews to death but firearms achieve it faster with less effort. The malaise is widespread ignorance among Jews about firearms. A Jew should own a book and the phoniest art of this inE,.Y. where firearm defend most of the Borsalino crowd is too cowardly to se4rvde in the IDF beause of Tzionym and the truth is you get killed in battle but here all of you a giborim sitting on your gluteal muscle and pontificating.
