New York – Former New York congressman Anthony Weiner (WEE’-nur) has returned to the forum that led to his political downfall in 2011, launching a new Twitter account.

The married Democrat resigned from Congress after tweeting a lewd picture of himself and lying about his account being hacked. He later admitted trading inappropriate messages with several women.
Weiner’s first post Monday was decidedly not racy: a link to a 20-page policy statement outlining “64 Ideas to keep New York City the Capital of the Middle Class.”
By mid-afternoon, there were about 2,600 people following (at)anthonyweiner.
Weiner’s name has emerged this month in a large field of potential candidates for New York City mayor.
A recent Marist College poll showed about half the Democrats surveyed wouldn’t even consider voting for him.
And here come all the little jokes to match the big one….Weiner himself.
There was nothing wrong with his tweeter account, he just used it wrong.
Have you EVER seen such a FABISAN face in your life?
Most of his followers are waiting to see how he’ll mess up again. I bet he doesn’t even have control over his twitter account anymore. Once again he’ll claim it was a hacker that did, said, posted that. BTW good one Aron1 #anthonysweiner
He thinks NYC is the capital of middle class?
Weiner has my vote. We’re electing a mayor, not a pope. So far he’s the best and only viable choice in the race. Notwithstanding his personal indiscretions, he has always served our community well.
He sent pictures in his underwear-still wrong but not pictures of his private parts.
