New York – Latest Poll Has Quinn Back On Top

APNew York – A latest New York Times/ Siena College poll shows City Council Speaker Christine Quinn holding a nine point lead over Anthony Weiner in the New York City mayor’s race.

    The results of the poll, released on the Siena College (http://bit.ly/13mHbJF) website Thursday morning, shows Quinn with 27% to 18% for Weiner.

    Both Former City Comptroller Bill Thompson and Public Advocate Bill de Blasio came in tied with 11%, while City Controller John Lui pulled in 7%.

    This latest poll stands in contrast to a Quinnipiac University poll on Monday that had Weiner leading Quinn 25% to 22%.

    The Times/Siena poll was conducted via telephone between July 9th and 15th.
