Ever since this bombing story appeared in the news, (in March 2002), the anti-semetic white-supremacist blogs have been saying that “the Jew Halberstam” really made the bomb himself and was planning to blow someone else up. [See, for example http://www.stormfront.org/forum/showthread.php/jew-screws-up-brooklyn-boom-17028.html.%5D

I am glad that Mr. Halberstam has finally been vindicated. (Not that any credible person would actually believe something so ludicrous.) My prayers & best wishes go out to him & his family.

I would like to take this opportunity to publicize the love I have for Hashem to underline how grateful I am to continually feel his protection and to beg my fellow Jews not to G-D forbid allow jealousy to enter your soul because it brings to baseless hate and then takes a life of its own and destroys. I am a G-D fearing Jew who loves my fellow Jew and would never try to hurt anybody. Recently I was in a situation where I was humiliated and embarrassed to the highest degree. My heart was bleeding every waking moment. It all came about from jealousy.
Jealousy brings to baseless hate, which brings to destruction. I was not able to say anything to justify my innocence knowing that my name was splattered to no end. With all that, I knew that my Holy Sweet Farther in Heaven would never do anything to hurt or harm me. My question was, what can I learn from this, please
G-D helps me be strong so I can gain from this and help someone feel closer to you from this. I love to say Tehillim, but since this happened I was unable to pray. This Wednesday I prayed, I finished the entire Tehillim, asking Hashem for his protection, his strength, and of course to be able to be BiSimcha. My fellow Jew. Look what happened on Wednesday, Look where my tefellos went. Look why I had to go through all that pain, Look how the pain protected me from who knows what Those of you who are going through difficult times know that Hashem does nothing to hurt, us only to protect us. Never allow jealousy to enter your hearts. Daven, continue to pray and if you can not, pray that you should be able to pray.

    With Love and Gratitude
    I remain,
    YEH
