Washington – Congressional officials say the Obama administration estimates Iran could get $6 billion to $10 billion in sanctions relief if it rolls back its nuclear program.

The estimate is significantly lower than ones offered by Israel, several House members and pro-Israel experts.
The administration hasn’t publicly provided a figure, but says the estimates ranging from $15 billion to $50 billion in relief are exaggerated.
Negotiations involving the U.S., five other world powers and Iran restarted Wednesday in Geneva.
U.S. officials hope to wrap up an interim agreement on activity Iran insists is for peaceful purposes but which many others suspect is aimed at developing nuclear weapons.
