Ya’alon also said that Hamas is responsible for the uptick in violence in recent days, Israel Radio reported.

During a Givati Brigade drill on Wednesday, the defense minister said that the Defense Ministry is preparing for the possibility of an escalation in the South, and warned that “if there is not peace on our side, there won’t be peace in Gaza.”

He also placed blame on the Palestinian Authority for the recent attacks.

Meanwhile in Israel’s South, the IDF re-deployed the Iron Dome missile defense system near Sderot, out of concern over potential rocket attacks.

The Iran deal has brought some positive light to Israel. Obama is committed to the deal, just because of his record. Obama is committed to the Israel and PA peace process as well.

Israel has learned that in exchange they will make as many requests as possible. For instance, they will now release prisoners on condition that Obama releases Pollard.

I just hope, that they continue to press just like the PA who is constantly on the receiving end and don’t deliver. Israel should just imitate that philosophy, it works!

Now, boys and girls, this is silly.

According to international rules governing Israel’s behavior, accepted by all including Israel, and in force since the last time Israel had a backbone, around Entebbe time, the following is always true:

    1) Israel must always honor all promises to give away land or release Arab murderers.

    2) It is irrelevant if keeping those promises is contingent on the Arabs doing anything. In the event of doubt, see #1 , above.

Just curious, exactly what sacrifices have the Palestinians made in this peace process?

Nebech, they have been forced to allow for the possibility, no matter how remote, that they might someday allow some Jews to live somewhere other than the ocean. Nothing binding, of course.

No logic no sense in this act. Only damage to Israel.
