Winnipeg, Canada – Judges Calls Lighter Attack On Jewish Student “Bullyism,” Not “Anti-Semitism”

Winnipeg, Canada – A provincial court judge ruled on Thursday that a 2011 incident in which a male south Winnipeg high school student singed the hair of a 15 year-old Jewish girl while saying “let’s burn the Jew” was an act of “bullyism,” and not motivated by anti-Semitism.

The WINNIPEG FREE PRESS (http://bit.ly/1a5SDxb) reports that the attorney for the girl, now 17, argued that the act was, in fact, racially motivated as he read the victim’s witness impact statement to Judge Robin Finlayson.

Attorney Colin Soul told Finlayson “This was an extremely serious offense,” and that it changed his client’s world “upside down.”

Soul also told the judge that the attack occurred at a time when an anti-Semitic culture was pervasive in the school.

Finlayson, who this past summer temporarily shelved the case pending a full psychiatric work-up of the accused, sided with a therapist’s opinion which stated that the male student’s behavior was “an impulsive teenage action,” as opposed to an act of anti-Semitism.

Finlayson ordered the accused to continue counseling, write a letter of apology, and do 75 hours of community service.

Maybe it was not absolutely a campaign to go after jewish society or not, but the difference between hate for a cause and remote bullying does not chime in the cause of exaggerated pleasure at another’s wellness based on their own heritage. Antisemitism? You bet.

Racism is something owned by Black and Hispanics, Jews never. They cannot even be awarded the title of being oppressed.

I suppose had they said “let’s burn the judge” it should not have been a specific attack against law enforcement and the justice system.
    Fool.
