Manhattan – Firefighter Critically Injured In Fall Off Fire Truck

Manhattan – On Friday night when FD truck, from Ladder Company 13, was pulling out of the fire house and was making a left turn onto Lexington Avenue between 84th and 85th streets, a 26-year-old city firefighter Joseph Moore fell off the truck and fractured his skull when one of the truck’s doors malfunctioned and swung open, he was critically injured and got serious head trauma and was rushed to New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center unconscious, PD Highway AIS Team was called in for the AI job.

The truck was not the company’s regular truck, but a spare used because the regular truck was being serviced, after that the truck didn’t respond to the fire.

Moore remains now in critical condition.
