Rockland County, NY – On Tuesday, U.S. Rep. Nita Lowey (D-Harrison) said that federal officials need to start wrapping up their investigations into the East Ramapo school district before the new state-appointed fiscal monitor’s review begins.

LOHUD.com (http://lohud.us/1snRtaG) reports that Lowey was referring to the June 10 decision in which the state Education Department answered Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s call to increase its oversight by installing Hank Greenberg as fiscal monitor.
Greenberg, according to Lowey, will need the information compiled by the feds when he begins his own review, the results of which he will then share with state and federal officials.
The news of the board’s decision infuriated East Ramapo school board President Yehuda Weissmandl who accused Cuomo and the Education Dept. of catering to the “demands of bigots.”
Lowey said, “I support actions to ensure that the children in (the district) receive the very best education possible. In the coming months, the State Monitor will be closely evaluating governance and fiscal practices of the school district. Expeditious review of federal complaints is essential to help resolve any and all concerns about the school district once and for all.”
When the feds release their reports, people nationwide will be shocked at the fraud involved here. I pray no one cries anti-Semitism about these audits.
I also hope Nathan Rothschild, the former school board President, does not have to go to jail again since his health is failing.
Oh yidden fargest nisht az mir zenin in golus. Yes we pay taxes, we have rights. We are entitled ro our funding. But….
Just goes to show how corrupt these politicians are catering to the whim of the “politically correct”. Regardless that the claims are baseless and ironically, or not, are actually based in vial bias by an alleged civil rights entity. Which is really no such thing.
