A spokesperson for the airline tells WCBS 880 that flights were being held in hopes of getting the system up and running again. Since they weren’t able to get the system running, flights have resumed, but are taking off without baggage.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is manually screening bags.

Passengers are being told that if they don’t want to fly without their bags, they can wait for another flight.
