Turkey – Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan accused the West on Monday of hypocrisy for its stance over the attack on satirical journal Charlie Hebdo and hostage-taking at a Jewish supermarket in Paris, while failing to condemn anti-Muslim acts in Europe.

Speaking alongside visiting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Erdogan also denounced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for attending a solidarity rally in France on Sunday with other world leaders after the Paris attacks.
“How can a man who has killed 25,000 people in Gaza with state terrorism wave his hand in Paris, like people are waiting in excitement for him to do so? How dare he go there?” he said.
“You should first give an account for the children and the women you have killed,” added Erdogan, who has been an outspoken critic of Israeli offensives against Islamist Hamas in the Gaza Strip, despite close commercial ties between Israel and Turkey.
Under Netanyahu, Israel has waged two wars with Hamas-ruled Gaza – in November 2012 and July-August 2014. According to U.N. figures, 174 Palestinians died in the 2012 war. In last year’s war, Palestinian medical officials said that somewhat more than 2,100 Palestinians were killed, most of them civilians. The combined Israeli toll was 79 in the two conflicts.
Erdogan did not attend the Sunday march, though Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu participated.
“The West’s hypocrisy is obvious. As Muslims, we’ve never taken part in terrorist massacres. Behind these lie racism, hate speech and Islamophobia,” Erdogan said. “Please, the administrations in those countries where our mosques are attacked need to take measures.
“Games are being played with the Islamic world, we need to be aware of this,” said Erdogan, who traces his political roots to a banned Islamist movement.
Mosques in France, Germany and Sweden have been vandalized before and since the attacks in what Turkey and others see as a growing tide of anti-Muslim sentiment across the continent.
Erdogan also suggested the attacks that killed 17 people were a failing of the French security forces since the suspects had recently served prison sentences.
“French citizens carry out such a massacre, and Muslims pay the price. That’s very meaningful … Doesn’t their intelligence organization track those who leave prison?”
Erdogan blamed Islamophobia for the West’s reluctance to take in more Syrian refugees after nearly four years of civil war, while Turkey hosts more than 1.6 million Syrians.
For their part, European governments have criticized Turkey for allowing Islamic militants from Europe and elsewhere to travel through its territory to fight in neighboring Syria.
A suspected female accomplice in the Paris attacks came through Turkey to Syria before the killings occurred, Turkish officials said.
I’m really sorry I know you Flatbush bal batim won’t like this but I really think that from a outside view he does have a point
Before you argue think about how would a random goy in some random hic town think
Turkey is a NATO member, and like the Ottomans before it, are savages. Erdogan ever heard of the Armenian genocide?
It is unfair to equate the Gaza casualties with the victims in Paris. Most of them were NOT targeted or had blood on their hands. The few hundred innocent civilians who may arguably have been killed were collateral damage resulting from their living in close proximity to the rocket launchers.
“As Muslims, we’ve never taken part in terrorist massacres.”
He’s right, we all know Boca haram, al qaeda, hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, sarnayav, the har nof killers, the fogel family murders etc etc etc, are all Zionist movements, nothing to do with Muslims.
I am no fan of Shimon Peres, but I will say this, he put this nut case in his place a few yrs back, iand in think this is one of the main reasons he is letting his ego get in the way of Israel / Turkish relationship
For those of you who want to know what I mean go watch the Davos peace summit and you’ll understand everything
Is has nothing to do with a ship
To Erdogan the Armenian genocide is like the Holocaust: neither happened and both are a figment of the wicked Zionists’ imagination and a plot against the peace loving Muslims led by their pedophile prophet Mohamad.
HankM,,,,you sound like our president.
kinda forgot about those turkish protester crackdowns haven’t we reb erdogan
What a arrogant and stupid idiot!
“As Muslims, we’ve never taken part in terrorist massacres.”
Twin Towers – over 3,000 massacred by Muslims
Armenia – over 1,000,000 massacred by Turks(!)
Beslan – over 300 russian children massacred by Muslims
And more and more and more!
I can’t even believe NATO took Turks into its membership.
Erdogan is certifiably insane no question about it his whole behaviour defending hamas and going back years just one look at him you can tell that he is unbalanced.
Someone should seriously remind this faarsholtane cholera about the 1.5 million Armenian men, women and children butchered by Turkey, since he’s turning senile!
Don’t be such a turkey!
He exhibits the typical working mind of those savage muslims.
If this vile Turkish leader replaced the name .BiBi’ with the name ‘abbas’, (L’havdil elef havdalos) his statements would be accurate. It was much more insulting to the victims and their families, and peace loving citizens alike, for abbas to show up at the peace rally. abbas’ fatah and hamass are one big terrorist organization, y”s.
How about all those Kurds you’ve killed Erdogan.
