The destruction and looting of the CVS Health Corp pharmacy in west Baltimore was widely filmed by news media. It became a symbol of the April rioting sparked by Gray’s death from injuries in police custody.
A wanted poster for the suspect, Raymon Carter, 24, was released by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The federal agency, Baltimore police and the Maryland fire marshal’s office are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to Carter’s capture.
Almost 400 businesses across Baltimore were damaged or destroyed in rioting, arson and looting that erupted on April 27, the day of Gray’s funeral. Police have said that 27 pharmacies were broken into during the rioting and after.
Gray died of a spinal injury after police arrested him for possessing a knife and put him in a police van. Six officers have been charged in the case.
Honestly it’s not worth locking him up. That cost between $40k-$60k a year. And he’s chopping people’s heads off either. Arrest those guys!
