The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum will open “With Firmness in the Right: Lincoln and the Jews” on Aug. 3. It runs through Nov. 15.

Library officials say the exhibit includes documents, photographs, letters, Bibles and other artifacts from many different sources – some of which haven’t been publicly displayed before. For example the exhibit includes Lincoln’s appointment of the U.S. military’s first Jewish chaplain.

The exhibit is a revised version of an exhibit that opened at the New York Historical Society earlier this year. It was inspired by the book “Lincoln and the Jews: A History” by Jonathan D. Sarna and Benjamin Shapell.

For those that are unaware, Lincoln was not only the greatest president this country has ever had but he was truly honest -despite his being an attorney. He was extremely wise, and a G-D fearing individual. He was falsely accused before being elected a congressman as being atheist because he did not belong to any Christian church. He publicly stated in October 1860 before his election as president that he was not a Christian because he carefully read the new testament -then took a copy out of his pocket – and said because I don’t understand this book.
Don’t get it wrong – Lincoln was Not Jewish. He was a very great and decent man. And no!!! He was not a Lubavitcher and did Not learn Tanya!!!

Not sure about Lincoln, but what is well known is that St. Georges cross was replaced by St. Andrew’s x-shaped cross on the Battle Flag of the Confederate Army (the one we are so busy taking down now) because the Jews of the Confederation did not want to fight under the commonly recognized symbol of Christianity. So much for the racist Southerners.

Your comments are ludicrous and stink of bigotry (a trait which good old Abe fought to abolish).
