New York, NY – Police are looking for a man who punched a woman in Manhattan, yelled anti-Muslim insults at her and spit on her.

The 19-year-old woman was assaulted late Saturday on Eldridge Street in Chinatown.
Police say a man approached the woman, made anti-Muslim statements, spit on her and punched her in the face.
The woman was treated for a fractured jaw at Beth Israel Medical Center.
Police have released a surveillance video of the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
Feel bad for the woman and all but can’t say I blame the dude. I mean, if you look around the world you’ll notice that these chevra (we know exactly who) are involved in most, if not all conflicts around the world, not to mention beheading each other without rhyme or reason.
Pace loving people the world over or simply sick and tired of all of these vermin.

I whole heartedly agree with #1 . It’s called mitigating circumstances in legal ease.
We Jews (among other decent people) don’t believe in collective punishment or stereotyping.
Throughout our history we have suffered plenty because of those “methods”.
Only those that are guilty of atrocities, and their active supporters, should be “punched”.
Wow! A Muslim woman gets attacked and the police are quick to identify this as anti-Muslim attack. Jews, or whites in general, get attacked and we can never really be sure if it’s motivated by bias or hate. We live in amazing times.
I did say “I think”. (That’s sort of a disclaimer.)
I won’t argue regarding “punishment vs. prevention” because I recognize I may be wrong.
But just to clarify my thoughts, I was referring to what I’m theorizing is Hashem’s motive (so to speak) with the commandment of annihilation.
For the Evil-doers it may be punishment.
But for those Amalakites that have not YET committed atrocities (but Hashem knows that they are predisposed to committing evil acts) it may be called “prevention”.
(Similarly to a Jewish “ben Sorer umorer” for whom there is an official mandate [if all conditions are met] to execute while still young.
