The president links them to hard-liners in Tehran who chant “Death to America.”
Obama says what the two groups have in common is that they’re “satisfied with the status quo.” He says hardliners are opposed to any cooperation with the international community, and Republicans have an “ideological commitment” to not getting a deal done.
Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has called on Obama to retract his comments, calling them offensive.
The president’s original remarks came in a speech earlier this week in which he refuted criticism of the deal to curb Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. He defended the comments in an interview with CNN that aired Friday morning.
cant stand this bum , nothing else to add
anyone who disagrees with the dear leader is a Communist who subverts the revolution.
Obama hates people who disagree with him more then the mad men from Iran, Isis and Muslim brotherhood.
Hillary is no better.
Liberals are evil.
Obama’s critics have an “ideological commitment to not getting a deal”. But, of course, Obama is NOT ideologically committed to GETTING a deal.
This man is beyond contemptuous.
He is dishonest, obscene and has a very poor moral compass.
It is inconceivable to fathom the damage and divisiveness that this president has wreaked on the country.
Can this ever be dialed back?
What a disgrace to the office to compare Americans who oppose financing to the #1 terrorist regime today to the fanatic mullahs that have brought Iran back to the stone ages.
For shame.
Go, golfing, Obama. Go golfing and leave this good country alone.
