“With a heavy heart, I support the balance between individual rights and freedoms with protecting Israel’s security and preventing [terrorist attacks],” Bennett told Kalman Liebskind on Galey Israel Radio. “I said it in the past and I stand behind my statements that it is right to use administrative detentions sparingly and very carefully.”

When asked whether he believes in totally equal treatment of Jewish and Arab terrorists, including house demolitions and the death penalty, Bennett responded in the affirmative.

“If there is a trend – and again, we still have to put an asterisk here, because I haven’t seen proof yet – but assuming that there’s a trend, then we need to use parallel tools,” he stated.

When Liebskind specifically asked about the death penalty, Bennett said: “Yes, of course, the answer is yes.”

Last month, a bill by MK Sharon Gal (Yisrael Beytenu) to make it easier to sentence terrorists to death was voted down 94-6, with only Yisrael Beytenu MKs voting in favor. Though Bennett and Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked said they support the death penalty, the former skipped the vote in order to not go against the government position. Shaked could not get away with absenting herself because she is the chairwoman of the Ministerial Committee for Legislation.‎

Our Sephardic, Ashkenazic and many Zionist Rabbanim were right all along (3 years ago) about this shady pathetic guy who all along revealed himself as anti-Torah and anti-Jewish, who wouldn’t have a problem executing innocent people without a trial if it secures his political seat. The Zionists themselves should thank Hashem that he didn’t end up being PM. Herzog would be a gem compared to this shameless man.

Why is there any question about the death penalty?? The right wing settler religious terrorists who slaughter innocent Palestinian children are an even greater existential threat to EY than the Arab terrorists and need to be exterminated. Their actions could trigger a massive war and bloodshed that will cost the lives of thousands of Israelis. The death penalty is the only deterrent that will get their attention. A few hangings or firing squads for Jewish terrorists would save many innocent lives in the long term.i

Bennett is a clay minded broken thought process. He thinks that jews are samples of gold. He has not learned that Hashem is the true blessing and that he is missing his own values by not receiving Torah in his values.

True he has a kippah and smiles. But still, he is not an orthodox sanity based on Torah.

So I would just let him rant during all his years.

He is not going to fix the values that we need in the State of Israel and he is to be quite dangerous.

Fortunately, I do not think he has the clamor for any real human hope.

    Sanity deprived, sanity reversed.

I would think that a jewish terrorist could be left in jail. He might have been able to repent.

Unless the crime is so heinous (cv’s). Then in all right, an execution might be needed.

    Taxed Future Immunity.

Bennett is a low life with a low militant mood.

He is not an orthodox hope for Israel.

The bottom line is, he wants the death penalty for terrorists, as do the rest of us. The government has let too many of them out who ended us killing Jews again.

You can’t really say it’s ok to kill an Arab terrorist, but not a Jewish one. Most of the time that a Jew committed acts of terror, they had a long history of mental illness. That would preclude the death penalty anyway.
