Herzl Halevi will accompany Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on a lightning trip to Moscow on Monday, in a clear signal that regional arms transfers and Russia’s troop deployments in Syria will be the main focus of the discussions.

Top IDF generals very rarely accompany the prime minister on his trips abroad, with the premier’s military attaché generally the only uniformed officer who joins these overseas trips.

The seriousness with which Israel is taking the new developments in Syria, and Russia’s growing troop physical involvement there, is reflected in Netanyahu’s decision to bring both Eisenkot and Halevi on the trip.

Netanyahu will be flying to Moscow on Monday for some three hours to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He will not be accompanied by the press.

    STUPID MOVE !
All the the 3 guys possessed with the highest secrets of the State of Israel, in the same spot and the same time !
    Especially in a ‘semi-hostile’ country.
Watch what the KGB Putin has in store for them.

How about the risk of an ‘accidental’ plane crash or other staged or real calamity?

Such high echelon persons NEVER EVER travel together in the most democratic of countries; even in the good old US of A.

There is always a person in the chain in the succession to the presidency secretly missing, (or there by his double) when the president addresses the joint session of congress.

Your all correct. Maybe something will happen to these three that foolishly believe that the might is in their hands. Don’t forget Hashem decides what will happen to Klal Yisroel – not Bibi. Bibi and his generals as well as Mr. Putin control nothing and can do nothing without the approval of Hashem. Now remember to do teshuva on time because maybe just maybe as in the exodus of Mitzrayim only 20% got saved and the rest were killed during Makas Choshech (and of course don’t be impressed by the dumb reform and conservative Jews or the new LGBT Jews because they are for certain from that 80% and BH we won’t be hearing about them after the true Moshiach arrives. )
