Denver, CO – Police: Obama Rally Crowd Estimated at More Than 100,000

Denver, CO – Back in the city where he claimed history, Barack Obama presided Sunday over a Colorado rally so enormous and energetic that even he seemed surprised at his following.

“Goodness gracious,” Obama said as he took the stage and peered at the human mass in Civic Center Park. People packed in all the way up the steps of the Capitol, off in the distance.

The Obama campaign released an initial crowd estimate of 75,000 people. That was later upgraded to “well over” 100,00 people, a tally confirmed by a Denver police spokesman.

The setting, on a sparkling day in this battleground state, said perhaps more than Obama did in his actual speech. His campaign is capitalizing on the scope of such rallies to get people to cast votes early, permitted in Colorado and more than two dozen other states.

“How many people have early voted?” Obama said, eliciting cheers from people bundled up in fleece. “That’s what I’m talking about. No point in waiting in lines if you don’t have to. You know who you’re going to vote for.”

Polls put Obama ahead in Colorado with the number of campaign days remaining now down to single digits.

It was here in Denver that Obama, in his groundbreaking campaign, accepted the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination at the stadium where the Denver Broncos play. If elected, he would be the first black president of the United States.

“Do you ever have small crowds in Denver?” a smiling Obama said. Members of the crowd interrupted Obama’s standard campaign speech with shouts of “Obama!” and “Yes we can!”

Traditionally, Colorado has gone for Republicans in presidential races, including twice for George W. Bush. Obama is trying to snag a win here as part of a multi-route path to capture at least the minimum 270 electoral votes on Nov. 4.

    Colorado offers nine such votes.

McCain will win. I went shopping today with my wife and I put on my McCain button. It was incredible how many people came over to me and gave me a thumbs up. All of them were white non Jews and were so happy to see a guy with a yamulka and tzizahs sporting the McCain button. I pointed out to them that my wife is wearing a Palin wig and they were elated when I told them that all the orthodox Jews will vote McCain.

I think Obamas wife can use a Palin wig. Her hair right now looks like she went into a dryer and was turning around for an hour.

Michelle Obamas hair is like Oprah Winfrey hair of the 1970’s and it scares me to death.

If he’s elected (c”v), at least I’ll have comfort in knowing the whole country will hate him by 2010. Can you say Carter II?

Maybe Obama hired some homeless people, gave them some food, promised them a nice trip, maybe even gave them a couple of single dollars, and there we go. Put them on buses. You just come with us. For good incentives any bored lonely person would join. The truth is I really don’t know who we would be better off with. But I am sure that Our Sweet Father In Heaven will take care of us. I hope with Rachmanous.

you asked me to back up my statments in regards to obama being a marxist?

he has a record of voting 100% of the time to raise the tax in his state of illinois.

he’s preached socialisim since his days as a community organizer.

he’s been appeasing the east by making comments like.

I would meet with the iranian presidnent without preconditions.

while our troops are being killed by iranian ied’s obama goes preaching the same way hitler did when he turned germany and the world into a world war.

if this isn’t enough to prove to you that he’s a marxist then vote for him and if he wins, you’l have to learn the hard way.
