A Palestinian attacker rammed his car into a bus stop at the Gush Etzion Junction in the West Bank, injuring two people, the Israeli military said. The man then got out of the vehicle and tried to stab people before being shot by security forces. Police said he had been killed.

It was the latest in a series of Palestinian attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers and the third incident on Tuesday.

It came as U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is in the region to meet with Israeli and Palestinian leaders in an attempt to curb weeks of violence that has killed 10 Israelis, 43 Palestinians and an Eritrean migrant worker.

“near an Israeli settlement in the West Bank.”
We need to stop describing places as “settlements” or people as “settlers.”
We feed into the narrative that these illegal places have these illegal people who are deserving of whatever happens to them.
