The three-term mayor on Tuesday joined a pool of other potential jurors in the assault trial of 55-year-old Wan Lie.
When Judge Laura Ward asked the usual what do you do for living, the 73-year-old billionaire responded by saying he manages a financial information company.
The judge then asked him if he knew anybody in law enforcement. Fifty-five thousand he answered.
And what did he do for fun? Bloomberg replied: “Study Spanish and hit the golf ball.”
Bloomberg was eventually rejected after two days.
As he left court, Bloomberg told The New York Times (http://nyti.ms/1kKvF6E ) he was “proud to serve.”

Too bad he doesn’t run for president. The US could use a good, fine and decent person like him who has intelligence and experience and yet is normal.
