The brainchild of Rabbi Gordan Geller, the memorial, which has yet to be designed, will be built on the city donated pavilion, “….those generations that do not remember history are condemned to repeat it…and I think that sums up exactly why we need this memorial.”

The memorial, which is expected to cost around $3 million dollars, will be funded by private donations. Kaleem Shabazz, Director of the Atlantic City Art Center — one of the community leaders behind the project — says the memorial should be completed in 2 to 3 years.

“…People shouldn’t forget that it happened,” said Atlantic City resident, Cyla Kowenski, a Holocaust survivor who spoke at the press conference / ceremony, “….the first generations dying out, I lost a lot of friends…and after we die, some people won’t believe that it happened, so at least they’ll see the memorial.”

Instead of spending money to build memorials we should be building schools.
Judaism is LIVING and we have to think of the future!

3 million dollars to build a memorial?! That is almost as much as a 3 family house in boro park. This doesn’t make sense.

It doesn’t make sense because most memorials or mueseums cost in the tens and hundreds of milions.

Setting aside the question as to whether or not america needs it’s 30th-something holocaust museum… setting aside the promotion of “holocaustism” as though that defined what it means to be a Jew… setting aside how the holocaust has been coopted by “tikkun” Jews to promote their various leftist agendas like gay marriage… setting aside the grand waste of money that could be spent far more productively in the Jewish community…

The Atlantic City Boardwalk??? What kind of place is this for a memorial to the six million dead. H”YD? Right amongst the casinos, the prostitutes, the drugs, the alchohol, the transvestites and the mobsters??? That isn’t a memorial, it’s an insult.

But then. what do expect from a plan hatched by a deformed movement “rabbi” and a black muslim?
