A large cloud of smoke billowed above the northern Gaza town after the attack and Palestinian sources were quoted by Channel 2 as saying that the air strike was carried out by F-16 fighter jets.

Channel 10 reported that Ryan was the “mufti” of Hamas’s military wing and had replaced Ahmed Yassin as the organization’s top clerical authority after Yassin’s assassination in 2004.

Palestinians said five people were killed and 25 wounded in the strike.

True, there are many more. However as others have said, at least this operation looks better than Lebanon.

Remember to say tehillim for the IDF. They may be going to a ground assault. I have been advised to say #121 & #142 . I’m sure there are other ones that are appropiate to say too. Also, it’s not just the soldiers. The rockets from Hamas are going farther and farther. They are reaching Be’er Sheva now.

Just curious… who would you place more blame on, the person who tells someone to kill, or the person who actually does the killing?

Killing the top dog of a terrorist origination is a good first step as we see with Yehudis in the story of Chanukah, Unfortunately all too often that is were people stop their fighting. They assume we chopped off the head and the body is paralyzed now we can go to sleep. This is where the problem could happen. This would be like playing a sport and your team is winning by a few points so you feel you can relax and let the other side score some point as well. This not only causes a possibility that you can fall behind and lose the game it can also create a change of momentum. Like another example, that if two people are wrestling and the weaker one is more energized he can win over the stronger opponent. The same could apply here. If Israel decides that because of the fact that they killed the head they can relax there is a possibility that that approach alone can emboldened the terrorist to come out stronger then they were before.

don’t get me wrong: I believe they achieved allot in this campaign! but SAY SO!!!! say THAT was our goal (as we all know more is not possible at ones, and leave the door open for more…) don’t give the impression you yourself are not satisfied, and when the wider goal does not materialize they will see it as your weakness.

We’re talking about a guy who sent his own son on a suicide mission. Maybe he just wanted a family re-union.
