The Worthington Drive residents say they are outraged by the materials they say accuse Jews of fiscal and moral misdeeds.

Resident Carol Moravsky, who isn’t Jewish, says she noticed a four-page tract on her lawn and many more on her block. Her husband, Nikita, says they were “disgusted.” Resident Rosemary Lyon says that when she called police she was told that the incident wouldn’t be investigated because no one was threatened in the leaflets

We’re in golus. It’s to be expected. Not much we can (or should) do.

That is like being outraged at Gravity. The nerve of Gravity making everything fall DOWN! All the time DOWN! How terrible. You would think sometimes UP, but no, all the time DOWN! Not fair! Maybe we should ban gravity.

I know this sounds like pure stupidity, but it is also pure stupidity to not expect fall out from Madoff and the “other” recent stories of bad Jewish behavior caused by greed.

The first step in stopping these kinds of tracts is to stop earning this reputation.

Those of you who heard that famous Borat song, “Throw the Jew Down the Well” know its main line:
“The Jew Takes Our Money and Doen’t Give it Back,
Throw the Jew Down the Well ….”

Brace yourself for the next round of leaflets over the Gaza situation. Seems its open season on Jews, and any excuse will do. I do believe it is a hate crime and should be investigated.

I am certain that if these fliers would have attacked some other group the police would have been very quick to investigate and label it a bias incident but when it comes to Jews, who cares. The residents of that community must put pressure on their elected officials to force the police to do their job. Shame on the police.
