Police said that the first incident took place at 6:15 PM at the intersection of Hewes Street and Williamsburg Street East when two men in an older model light blue Dodge Caravan offered a 12 year old boy a lollipop.

“The approached the victim and said, ‘boy, come here, lollipop,’ in Yiddish,” said police.

The boy ran away from the scene and saw the same men talking to a young girl a few blocks away at another intersection. Police said that the 10 year old girl continued walking and then men drove away. Upon his return home, the boy told his mother what happened and she called police.

The two men are described as white, clean shaven and last seen wearing flat topped, brimmed caps.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline by phone at 800-577-TIPS, by text at 247637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577 or online at www.NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.

We all know what the end of the story will be. After they’re caught the “ASKANIM” will help him oh and BTW of course L’Shem Mitzvah
I think we all remember the story in Flatbush
Hopefully one day people will be more sane and prosecute fully
