The White House says most did not get sufficient attention.

The list includes incidents like a truck massacre in Nice that killed dozens and received widespread attention, as well as less high-profile incidents in which nobody was killed.

The AP could not verify that each of the incidents had connections to the Islamic State group.

President Donald Trump claimed during a speech earlier Monday that the media was deliberately ignoring attacks.

Trump said that, “in many cases, the very, very dishonest press doesn’t want to report it,” adding, “They have their reasons.”

Over the past year, 15,000 people were murdered in the United States (4 times the rate of Europe), does this get sufficient coverage? Should we reconsider our gun policy?

To #3-WRONG; there were two terrorist attacks in Columbus, Ohio in 2016, by two Somalis; to this date, the FBI and the local police won’t call them terrorist attacks, even though both attackers had machetes and knives and shouted “Allah Achbar”. The first terrorist attacked an Israeli owned restaurant, and slashed many patrons before being shot dead; the second rammed his car to attract a crowed, and then started stabbing students at Ohio State University. Both attackers were shot dead by police. The terrorist at Ohio State was a recent refugees. Also, in 2016, there was a similar terror incident at a shopping mall in St. Cloud, MN, whereby a Somali also began slashing shoppers, and shouting “Allah Achbar”. He was confronted by an off duty cop, who shot him dead, after the terrorist tried to stab the cop. All three of those miscreants were radicalized on the Internet. To this date, the news media has downplayed all three incidents. In two of the cases, the media carrried reports by relatives of the attackers, stating “what a nice person they were”. Hence, Trump was right, regarding how the media portrays those incidents, whereby it downplays any terror connections.
