Cleveland, OH – U.S. agents took suspected Nazi death camp guard John Demjanjuk from his Ohio home on Tuesday to deport him to Germany where he faces charges in the deaths of 29,000 Jews.

Demjanjuk, 89 and in frail health according to his family, was removed from his house in a wheelchair and was to be flown overnight to Munich where prosecutors have accused him of being an accessory in killings during 1943 at Sobibor death camp, an area in Poland then occupied by Nazi Germany.
The Ukraine native was sentenced to death in Israel in 1988 accused of being a sadistic guard “Ivan the Terrible” at Treblinka where 870,000 died. That country’s highest court later ruled he probably was not “Ivan” but U.S. officials then stripped him of his citizenship saying that he had worked at three other camps and hid that information at his U.S. entry in 1951.
But in the last minute the appeals court granted him a stay of deportation, and his son says that he has been released from federal custody.

I was listening to CBS880 and they were saying how he had to be brought out on a stretcher. It sounded as if they wanted people to sympathize with him and his family.
My grandmother once told me how she watched close to 200 members of her close family being taken away on trucks to be killed or sent to concentration camps………………………………….

Millions of people died, not just people, but grandparents and great grandparents, mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, siblings, aunts, uncles, etc. Families were torn apart and murdered. This man helped destroy these families. People were brutally murdered and bulldozed into mass graves or sent to the gas chambers. He had no remorse when he killed children, elderly, sickly, innocent people. He gave no reprieve to those he murdered.
Let him sit in a German prison. When John Demjanjuk dies, he should go to H—. H— should have a

His deportation case has been languishing for more than 20 years. At this rate, he has little to fear from this go around. Were I a bettor I would place a large wager that he dies peacefully in his sleep in his own bed while the DOJ fumbles the case yet again.
