The Jerusalem Post daily reports that Jonathan Pollard says Israel should kill one Hamas prisoner every day until the militant group frees Sgt. Gilad Schalit
Pollard, who is serving a life sentence in the U.S. for his 1985 spy conviction, also says he’d refuse to be exchanged for “terrorists.”
The paper said Wednesday that Pollard made the remarks to Israeli ultranationalist activist Moshe Feiglin who visited him in a prison in Buttner, North Carolina.
Israel and Gaza’s Hamas rulers are believed to be nearing a deal to swap 1,000 Palestinian prisoners for Schalit, who has been held in Gaza since 2006.
but what happens if they go ahead and execute shalit? oh, didn’t think of that.

I never really cared for pollard before but now I think that he is the smartest person in the political side show!
If you think hamas will execute shalit, you might be right, but if they exchange ONE THOUSAND TERRORISTS for him, Hamas will execute MANY MORE “Shalits” in the future. If pollard hadn’t already renounced his American citizenship, he would make a great Wartime U.S. President.

I understand that no one wants to be in Hamas’s captivity, but how will Gilad feel when he finds out that 1 jewish life was lost due to one of the released Hamas prisoners? That will be interesting.

I am very fearfull that Hamas intention all along was to kill Shalit which I believe is their way of toying with Israeli/Jewish emotions. They know that we love life.
Pollard it seems like that jail cell has rotted your brain. No sane democratic government would just start executing prisoners of their enemy to release a kidnapped soldier. There are Jews in Israel who have been going hungry for years. If we had been executing these terrorists, think of how much money we would have saved and it could have fed some Jews (at least some of the money could have) !! Will they keep Shalit alive?? He is a bargaining chip to both Israel and France so they might not kill him so quickly but never underestimate the mind of a terrorist!!

Pollard should be released… not because he isn’t a lowlife, but because the Justice Dept and self-hating Jew Schulz lied and offered him a deal on which they reneged… oh, and then there’s the matter of their misuse and abuse of his then wife.
When the government misbehaves, it loses it moral ground to exact punishment or defend its position, even when it is in the right. Call it a forfeit, you you ill. Pollard must be freed because the government cheated and lied. Two wrongs may not make a right, but they do sometimes cancel each other out.
