United Arab Emirates – At least two of the 26 suspects sought by Dubai police for the alleged killing of a top Hamas leader appear to have entered the U.S. shortly after his death, according to people familiar with the situation.

Records shared between international investigators show that one of the suspects entered the U.S. on Feb. 14, carrying a British passport, according to a person familiar with the situation. The other suspect, carrying an Irish passport, entered the U.S. on Jan. 21, according to this person. Senior Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Mabhouh’s body was found in a Dubai hotel room on Jan. 20.
Dubai’s Police Chief Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim identified eleven suspects on Feb. 15.
There aren’t records of either man leaving the U.S., though investigators can’t be sure the two are still in the country, according to this person. Since the two were traveling with what investigators believe to be fraudulently issued passports, they may have traveled back out of the U.S. with different, bogus travel documents.
The suspected U.S. travel broadens to American shores the international manhunt triggered by Dubai’s investigation into the death of Mr. Mabhouh. Dubai police have already identified two U.S. financial companies they believe issued and distributed several credit cards used by 14 of the suspects in the alleged killing.
A U.S. State Department spokesman declined to comment.
A spokesman for Interpol, which is also investigating the murder, declined to comment.
seems like the uae are bored. they have no other business than tracking down 26 people that are implicated in the murder of a murderer. JUST MOVE ON.
How dare the infidels kill a murderer!! How dare they stop him from plotting more murders and mayhem!!
Its funny that they are tracking these suspects who have links to many countries, all over the world now, they still don’t know who they are exactly and have them on Interpol but what did they actually do???
They killed a terrorist!!!
Venehapoch Hu!
This is not a game, all terrorist will be eliminated at one point of their lifes,
They chose this life style, we will help them to their exit.
Bon Voiage,Adius
And they still have no evidence israel was involved. I hope the truth comes out, and we will know for sure who it was. If it isn’t Israel it will be fun to watch all the countries back pedaling.
guess whos next………….
Can someone explain how passport control at an airport works? When they swipe your passport does it go to the issuing country’s database and show a match? I assume not, otherwise a forged passport wouldn’t help. So what does it do – just search the host country’s database ? Interpol? The reports said that the forged passports didn’t even have the correct number of digits or letters – wouldn’t that get picked up? (I’m sure the systems will change now…)
did usa border patrol gave the arabs the list of people enter to the usa ?
where ia the security ?
Interpol – the international police group – is so busy tracking the 26 killers of this Hamas man, but the Hamas murderer was not searched (who admitted killing 2 israelis and other terrorist activities) for by interpol. Hm, Hm!!
No Israelis in Dubai, No terrorist outside Dubai.
where is the un! They wont put their hands on the spoil? They could also get some kovod or attention from this assasination! Then guess what! They could just condemn israel again without any proof! after all, that’s what they’re getting paid for!
The two could easily get on an el al plane and fly back to Israel like any diplomat. Its not a big deal smuggling them to another location. But I think they will need to do plastic surgery and change their looks if they want to be active in the future with mossad.
this whole story is riddiculous the guy who got killed was a terrorist. why is there a “manhunt”?
I see a new video game coming. Where in the world is…
By the way did the Dubians(?) Doobees(?)Dubious(?) ever explain how a senior Hamas terrorist was killed without any sign of struggle, no pathological evidence of fouls play, in a room locked from the inside without a balcony?
