    49

Shomrim police last week looking for the vehicleBrooklyn, NY – VIN News has learned that the reported abduction of a ten year old boy in Borough Park last week has turned out to be nothing more than an unfortunate misunderstanding. Official reports state that the boy darted out onto 48th Street between 14th and 15th Avenue and was nearly hit by a passing jeep. The driver of the vehicle, a Hispanic male, got out of his car, grabbed the boy by the arm and yelled at him, prompting some to believe that the driver was attempting to kidnap the boy.

Typical bp idiots instead of blaming the little animal who ran into the street, they blame the sheigetz who was ‘kidnapping’ him

why would a child make up such a story? the whole story sounds fishy to me. someone is trying to do a good job.

    Excuse me?
How abt if the boy just got scared of this big man holding his arm FOR WHATEVER THE REASON MAY BE.
Mybe the guy just wanted to scold him but the boy thought he will kidnap him too?

Whatever the reason, he had no right to grab the kid. I understand why charges are not being filed, but definetely he had to be arrested and investigated! Kudos to Shomrim!

So typical for a BP kid!

A Hispanic tries to save him, and he is so scared out of his wits by this big non-jew who btw is hardly a human being in his community, that he genuinely thinks that he’s being abducted!

Kids have to be taught to be careful when crossing, this shabbes by davening a 9 y/o child was struck by a car in front of a shul in boro park, while his father was listening to leining, the child was playing wild catch in the street. Even the car was banged up from the boys body.

I knew it from the beggining – cause he was to easy to find… usually these perks are a hard catch.

Guys are really sick! A mistake? Naive? or just never heard of anybody dropping charges! This doesn’t sound like any “Mistake”. People saw this guy holding this arm and this kid yelling! when they approached, this guy let go of the kid and took off. Yeah stupid? Mistake? NOOOOO in police terms (lowering crime rate terms) it’s called mistake. In simple english it’s considered dropped charges (which everybody knows people orthodox people have a phobia for). I just witnessed a guy robbing a saw from an mta construction site. He was caught by shomrim, held for police to book him. when the mta site manager showed up, he said sorry my superiors dont want to press any charges, they took it as a mistake and that was it!

This guy most definitely commited battery and perhaps assault as well. He could have been charged for that, and they probably didn’t charge him for it because he was “yotzei” already…
But he definitely committed a crime, and he can still be charged in civil court, and would probably have to pay nominal damages.

I don’t get it. The driver was probably almost as scared as the kid. Hispanic people love kids too, and no-one wants to be responsible for a child’s death. Grabbing a kid by the arm isn’t aggravated assault. He didn’t hit the boy or shake him. That should be the parents’ job – or maybe they should have taught him not to run into the street in the first place.

No harm was done, so let’s give the outrage a rest.

to all you people who are yelling assault etc.. about the hispanic driver, please excuse my language but are you crazy?!!!!! If not for this driver this child might be dead!!!! Instead of apologizing you think we should arrest him for assault? you are way to far gone! It seems to me this hispanic is more machshiv our children than we are. He knows that a child who runs in the street could easily be killed and needs to be yelled at to save his life, where is your seichel? Stop seeing goyim bad, yidden good for a second and look at the situation. Use the brain Hashem gave you! We owe thanx to this man not threats of arrest!
