New York – As Wall Street campaign contributions to Democrats have been drying up, Sen. Charles Schumer’s vaunted fund-raising operation has been suffering from a steep drop-off in contributions.

Schumer’s Impact Political Action Committee has raised just $381,000 this election cycle, compared to $706,000 for the 2008 elections.
The so-called leadership PAC — used by politicians to funnel money to political allies — ranked 44th this year out of all politicians’ PACs, slipping from 36th, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
Schumer stopped “focusing on this account” because it had served its purpose of donating to fellow senators, his spokesman said. When it comes to money he doled out, Schumer, who is up for re-election, dropped from 14th to 29th. place.
One reason for the slide: numerous high-powered corporate PACs that donated in the past have yet to give to Schumer, and some major financial firms have cut their contributions in half.
In the 2008 cycle, an impressive 36 corporations and institutions maxed out with a $10,000 contribution.
This time, just 9 ponied-up the full amount.
Among those firms who gave $10,000 last time but gave nothing so far this cycle are Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase.
The slack comes as Wall Street figures have fumed at a Democratic-backed financial-regulation bill clamping down on industry practices.
Is the fact that the drop can also be attributes to the fact that big jewish donors are fighting back obama’s anti israel campaign by cutting donations to dems for midterms. Dems live off jewish money and power! Let them all call their party leaders to grill obama for not condemning turkey in strong enough terms.
We don’t need no photo ops with bibi! We want obama to explain publicly why he signed onto a doc in the un singling out israel for its nukes! And crowleys condemnation of that doc seems weird! Why does the administration sign something they r against!?!
BTW:schumer did help israel lately in regards to the administration.
Any half decent conservative can run against him and win. He licked Obamas tuchus once too many times and he bit the hand that fed him once too many times. He should retire and become a Professor at Columbia with all the liberal left wing pinkos.

The bankers get bailed out, and this is the gratitude they show. If the Republicans get back in charge there will be many more bailouts and much more corporate welfare. We will all pay.
