Jerusalem – A Palestinian gunman opened fire on an Israeli vehicle traveling in the West Bank on Tuesday, killing four passengers, authorities said, in a deadly attack that cast a long shadow over Mideast peace talks set to start this week.

In the past militant groups have staged attacks in an effort to sabotage peace efforts.
Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the gunman opened fire at a vehicle traveling near Hebron — a volatile city that has been a flash point of violence in the past. Some 500 ultranationalist Jewish settlers live in heavily fortified enclaves in the city amid more than 100,000 Palestinians.
Israel’s national rescue service said the victims included two men and two women. It gave no further details.
At least four Israelis, including a pregnant woman, are reported to have been shot. The 4 are a husband his wife and 2 others taking a tramp with them.
Their car came under fire from a passing vehicle at the Beni Naim junction on Highway 60.
Security officials describe it as a well-planned ambush. The attackers are said to have paused to confirm that the victims were dead before fleeing.
Security forces and Magen David Adom ambulances rushed to the scene. Palestinian security forces were also told of the attack, which took place just as the Ramadan fast was ending, and are looking into the incident.

The other victims of the shooting are Kochava Even-Haim and Avishai Schindler, who were in the car with the couple. Kochava Even-Haim managed to give birth after years of trying, and Avishai Shendler only recently moved to community.

With all the media attention that “Chacham” Ovadia’s wish to kill all the Palestinians has receieved in the local newspapers and radio stations in the West Bank, how do you know the killer was not motivated in part by those comments. There were killings like this before he opened his mouth but clearly his remarks were not helpful. I will leave it to others to establish cause-effect.

The connection is clearly to the “peace” talks and not to anything Haham Ovadia shlita may have said or not said.
The “moderates” either pull off these attacks or let them happen whenever “peace” is on the horizon to show their people that at the end of the day, they have no interest in real peace and no interest in anything other than what their radical brothers also seek to do – and that is to establish a new Judenrein Arab state in ALL of Eretz Yisroel.
There murders had nothing whatsoever to do with Rabbi Yosef’s comments. All it does is prove that Rabbi Yosef was right!

Its time to move on to discuss which settlements to keep on the west bank and which have to be returned for a peace to be possible.
