“Israel is the product of pioneering human spirit… In spite of wars, we made peace with Egypt and Jordan,” said Peres. “[And now] we are ready to enter direct negotiations with Syria. Right away.”
Peres also stressed the need for a two-state solution with the Palestinians, saying “there is no other peaceful alternative.”
I just wish Mr. Peres would go away. He’s done enough damage, it’s well past time to retire. He could then spend time doing bikur cholim, visiting Ariel Sharon, and discussing how to further destroy the Jewish homeland. The so-called “palestinians” could not have asked for a better representative than Shimon Peres. Whenever there’s a policy of appeasement or giving land away, Mr. Peres is nearby. Now I suppose he wants to give the Golan to the Syrians so she can get the Nobel Peace Prize. Please Mr. Peres, retire , you’ve done enough.
nauseating
Syria has much to work on in terms of Israeli and American Relations! This is a good move. Let’s hope that Hashem gives Syria all the aid that they need to move foward in this progressive society!
The only reason Syria wants peace is 1: the Syrians are starving and 2: they want the Golan Heights back!!
shimeleh shimeleh.thank goodness you only come out with these rediculous staements these days.there was a time you did much more harm.
