Borough Park, NY – Detectives hauled out more children’s clothes from murder suspect Levi Aron’s apartment yesterday and are investigating whether he is a first-time killer, law-enforcement sources told The Post.

The theory is based on 35-year-old Aron’s age and the manner in which 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky was suffocated and butchered, the sources said.

Cops took bags marked “kids pants” and “blue child’s spoon, pink cup” from the attic apartment and will run the items through the DNA database to see if they match other cases, sources said.

The loser loner stashed the items in the East Second Street home he shared with his father and uncle in Kensington, Brooklyn.

“There were two boxes in a closet, and they appear to have been there for a while,” said a source.

They also carried out bags of shirts and jackets and 12 filing boxes.

If such was the case, then at least theoretically there may have been warnings of his deviant proclivities.

The secular media has cited claims he had previously tried to lure other potential victims into his car — and that such attempts were never reported to the police.

Will this horrific crime result in a sea change in our community’s approach to predators, or will be continue to listen to those who have defied Rav Elyashiv’s ruling?

Maybe the family stored some of its old children clothing etc in his closets?

Clothing in an attic may or may not be indicative of Aron’s having prior victims. People store old stuff in attics and basements, and clothing is certainly high on the list of stuff that’s packed away. Remember, Aron had a sibling who died earlier. The clothing could have belong to that child. Conceivably, the clothing could have even belonged to Aron when he was a boy. File this under “Interesting, but not definitive.”

All this is interesting, but really irrelevant. B”H this creature has been caught, and however the case goes, it is clear that he will never be out on the streets again.

according to most florescence psychiatrists the chances of such a crime being the first acts of violence by that person is very rare. But possible therefore even with no evidences they will investigate if aron was involved in any other crimes of this nature.

sadly there are many missing children cases that are still opened and the child never ever heard from.

I hope there is really good investigative work here…
My take on this horrific story about Leiby (A”H) is that this Aron knew him prior, and set him up to ask his mother to allow him to walk home alone –
    perhaps promising him something….
How else is it that the very first day he walked home he got picked up?
How did he get SO lost? Every kids in Boro Park knows where Eichler’s is….Leiby walked in the wrong direction!
Why if he “asked for directions” did he wait 7 minutes outside the dentist office?
Also- there is no proof he asked Aron for directions – and why are we believing Aron’s report anyway?
The video just shows him falling in step behind Aron….
I am sure other people have though of all this – but to keep reading how it was “coincidence” and that Leiby asked for directions, etc etc is upsetting….
Unless the police are saying these things to just deflect while they gather some more evidence.
Hope they can tie him to another bad situation that would open people’s eyes up a little more to how children are “groomed” for perpetrators.. This could not have been Arons debut into abuse.

    Just my 2 cents.

When I first heard who the killer was and what he did, I automatically cursed him out and was horrified with his confession and was quick to say he was lying and he probably killed many others. But you know, it kinda makes sense that he told the truth. Maybe he is sort of sane and is not a murderer by nature. I think he was a very lonely man who was divorced twice and doesnt have any kids of his own. He probably needed a friend and thought it would be harmless to take the boy home. I think he thought they could “hang out” for a while. And when he said he “panicked” when he heard the ENTIRE brooklyn was looking for the boy, he didnt know what to do. He did a thoughtless horrific act for no reason but maybe he was scared of what the community might do to him if they found out he brought him home with him and failed to realize disposing of him was worse. After he killed him, he had to get rid of the body (r”l) so he did what he knew (he used to be a butcher) The only question is, what were some of the boys remains doing in his fridge?? Believe me, I wish the worst on this murderer, but maybe he really was telling the truth.

This is why we have investigations. This is why it’s important to call the police when there is suspicion of a crime. Covering up for criminals, protecting them and punishing victims who are courageous enough to come forward makes cases like this inevitable.
