Anders Behring Breivik went to Newark, N.J., which is near New York City, at the end of July 2004 as a tourist, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss Breivik’s travel history. It is not known whether he stayed in Newark the entire time or traveled elsewhere during his weeklong stay.
Norway participates in a U.S. visa-waiver program, and therefore Breivik did not need a visa to travel to America.
The FBI has looked into Breivik’s U.S. ties, including travel and family, and has not found anything nefarious, though the bureau continues to assist the Norwegians in their investigation.
Breivik admitted bombing the Norwegian capital on July 22 and opening fire on a youth group retreat to save Europe for what he called “Muslim domination,” killing 77 people.
No one comes from Norway to spend a week in Newark. Without a doubt he took the 30 minute bus ride to Manhattan and who knows what no good he was up to when he was here.
who cares …….. no really, who cares
So?!
Its 7 years later what’s one thing got to do with another!
This is silly. He landed at Newark airport to visit New York. Does anyone fly to Europe to spend a week in Schipol, the tiny town where Amsterdam’s airport is located? Even JFK is in Queens, but not many tourists fly from Europe to spend a week in Queens.
Tomorrow’s headline: “In 1995, he went to Disney World with his family”
Who cares
He was recruiting terrorists for sleeper cells to do cop- cat type attacks at summer camps in the U.S.??
