So beautiful and touching to see Judaism surviving in the harshest of countries.
This puts to lie Zionists claims the Iranian’s mistreat Yidden.
Does “annual” mean that it’s only one day a year that every deceased’s yahrtzeit is observed? Are they not permitted to visit their loved ones’ graves on other days of the year? Just curious………………
Wondering: Can they get to VIN from Iran?
Nebech!!! These people really fell what it means to be in Gulis!
Can someone explain what this day is? What does it commemorate?
Sure, let’s all help spread the Iranian propaganda. Look how well Jews live in our country! Yep, that’s why 97% of them are living in Israel today.
While it’s true that some Persian Jews do not want to leave Iran, most cannot.
FYI in case you’re wondering – the liquid on the matzeivas is rose water.
#19 ……… It makes me nuts when someone so self rightous makes comments like this AS FACT! The torah does not say women cannot wear pants! It is learned out that women should not wear a “beged ish”. Ashkenazim generally hold this to mean pants of any kind since long frocks were what women long ago wore. In Middle Eastern countries the women had specific “isha” pataloons & sepharadim hold that pants made for women is NOT “beged ish”. Also by your 2nd comment there should have never been any jew anywhere in Eastern Europe it would have been pure assur. Historically Arab countries were better to jews than European ones. There were no progroms no inquisitions no expultions….. Please think before you post.
