Forman, a party loyalist with deep roots in the complicated swirl of American Jewish politics, spent years (accurately) knocking down predictions that Jews would shift to the Republican Party, an will arrive at a complicated moment for Obama’s relations with Israel and the (not all that Jewish) American pro-Israel community.

Forman’s hire is part of a steady focus by Obama’s campaign on calming running dissatisfaction among Jewish Democrats.

I am very tempted to post lashon-hara comments about this traitor, but will refrain. So sad to see how many of our fellow brethren just don’t get it when it comes to their own best interests.

Has he forgotten about Jeremiah Wright? Rashid Khaladi? Al Sharpton? Bill Ayers?

Rav Meir Kahane (z”l, hy’d) once said that he feared leftist Jews more than the goyim. Sad, but oh so true. Lately, it seems that the evil comes from within.

Jews to be very very careful not to publicize the true negetive opinion against an existing American president who does not deserve to be re-elected.
What ever Jewish population will act in the upcoming presidential elections has to be done with confidentiality and acoarding to halacha. Not to cause any sinas Yisroel on us.

Obama made a wise choice. While I don’t always agree with Forman, he has the respect of all elements of the Jewish community and among members of congress of BOTH parties. Hopefully, some of his yichus will rub off on the President.

One can only pray that our people not be seduced by the beguiling sweet talk of the latest, in a string of , ubiquitus ,court Jews (Axelrod, Rahm Emanual et.al).

Obama should focus on improving his policies vis-a-vis the Jews and Israel if he’s worried about their vote rather than hiring someone to spin things in a positive light for him.
This just shows you how cynical politics really is.

Why didn’t he hire Ed Koch? The new fellow looks something like him anyway.

How transparent can someone be? Does Obama think that tust because he’s dangling this poor shlub in our faces, that he can make us forget everything he’s done with regard to Israel to this point?

What is he wasting time and money for? 80% of the Jews (also known as 100% of the not frum Jews) will vote for Obama anyways. Torah has been replaced by social justice. Mitzvos have been replaces with ‘tikun olom.’ Hashem has been replaced by the Democratic party.

The same left-wing liberal Jews who voted for him before will vote for him again. It was a dream come true for them to have the opportunity to vote for a black for president who was not some loony Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson.

Before the election I got into an argument with a work colleague (liberal, left-wing Jew) who said that the ONLY reason the Orthodox were opposed to Obama was because he was black. I told him the opposite was true – most Orthodox Jews that I know would vote for anyone who was “good for the Jews,” no matter how they might feel about his other policies. It was the left who could not see beyond Obama’s blackness and realize that he was too inexperienced to be president and no friend of Israel or the Jews.

I think that it’s still the case. We’ll have to count on the rest of (non-Jewish) America to have some “saichel” and vote this incompetent out of office.

Mr. Forman – u need to draw up a list of what the Jews need from Obama – the list should be huge including federal grants to all Yeshivos, release Pollard, stop funding terrorism in Pakistan, Lybia, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Hamas, PLO, etc, MOVE US EMBASSY to Jerusalem. All these should be DONE and ACCOMPLISHED BEFORE any Election – NO PROMISES – ONLY ACTUAL DELIVERY – COD!!!
