Rabbi Raphi Yochai of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel said drink machines are also problematic, offering beverages made with milk from non-Jewish dairies. He said chips/french fry machines not only run the risk of non-Jewish cooking, in the case of Saturday-night purchases, the cooking process may have taken place during Shabbat.
There are enough places to eat in EY with good chassideshe hashgacha so its no big deal if a few vending machines and fast food vendors don’t meet kashruth standards. If you are shomer kashruth, you will find somewhere to eat. Its another issue if they advertise themselves as kosher but are selling treifus.
You do not need French Fry machine. Sell small bags of potato chips!! No questions!!
