Gingrich was speaking in New York City Thursday night at the state Republican Party’s annual dinner. The New York state Republican presidential primary is next week.

Gingrich acknowledged he was the underdog in the race. Romney is vastly far ahead in the delegate count.

Gingrich said there was a “moral obligation” to defeat President Barack Obama. He said he and Romney have discussed that each would work hard for whoever wins the nomination.

Gingrich said he was “dedicated to a unified Republican party.”

Of course he would support Romney. The #1 goal is to DEFEAT OBAMA. The #2 goal is to give him a Conservative majority – or at least Republican majority – so that we could repeal everything Obama.

It won’t help him a lot, he has made a big fool of him self for now and forever, he could’ve act a lot smarter and be a lot more respected.

As much as I would not want to support Romney is how much I would support him. Anything or anyone from the Republican party as long as its not Obama.

I’m still voting for Newt next week if he makes it that far. But if Romney wins the nomination I am voting for him of course.

Whoever wastes time to cast a vote is just an idiot. These politicians make us look like retarded people. They fool us every 4 years with their empty promises and still they convince us to take part in the elections as if its for our benefit.

    Wake up guys

How can any frum Jew NOT vote for Newt?

We’ve seen the biased distorted media against Israel, we’ve seen how vicious and agenda-driven the media is. We can’t afford to believe the lies about Newt Gingrich.

    He has outlined on
    newt.org
his Contract With America, like the one he wrote and stuck with when he was Speaker. There you can see how he is the best friend Israel could ever have. How he has a fundamental understanding of many issues, such as American energy. America has enough energy to be totally independent of middle east, and by drilling here you also generate hundreds of thousands of jobs in our own USA, paying royalties to our own country. He reminds ppl that gas was less than $2 before Obama came, and he’s explained how he can bring it back down to $2.50 or less.

He has spent his whole life patriotically trying to help the USA, either through politics, or privately, writing books, making movies, about reforming welfare, reforming healthcare.

He is head and shoulders above the other candidates in his understanding of what America needs, and his experience in getting the job done, and in COMMUNICATING

I can’t help but wonder what was Gingrich thinking over the last few months when he knew he had no chance of winning and when he could have bowed out in a way that would have made him look a whole lot better then he looks now. By staying in the race and going so negative he has just ruined his prestige and damaged his credibility and he has gotten heavily in debt and frankly once Mitt gets the nomination – which he will, he is not going to even answer if Gingrich calls him and so if Gingrich thinks he is going to be someone Mitt has to reckon with then I hate to break it to Newt but he is going to be in for a surprise.

Until Romney, or anyone gets 1144 delegates, the race is WIDE OPEN. Gingrich is staying in the race because he knows how much is at stake if Obama gets in again. He is the only candidate who has actually balanced the national budget and generated millions of jobs in America.

He is the only candidate who can really see through the nonsense of Obama’s speeches and policies and is able to communicate clearly what’s wrong with them, and what the right course of action is to take.

People, PLEASE check him out personally, hear his debates, listen to him speak, go to his website. Don’t be duped by the lies and bias of the media.

    2 men:

1 has largely run his campaign by spending millions smearing his fellow candidates. What are his actual policies, how can he help get America back on track? People aren’t quite sure what his plans are… Who backs him? A handful of Big Boys in Wall Street, and the establishment. His Bain Capital firm owns media giant Clear Channel broadcasting, employing the likes of Rush Limbaugh &Hannity;.

The other has largely run a positive albeit shoe-string campaign. He publicly states his bold ideas, and many solutions to help America’s domestic and foreign policy. On his site he writes detailed plans for his goals, and has already had legislators prepare documents so that on his first day in office he can sign a whole series of executive orders which will start getting the US back on track. Not only that, he actually has a record of having fixed many similiar problems back in the day, so he’s DONE IT BEFORE!
Who backs him? He has around 170,000 average, middle class Americans who have donated small amounts to his campaign.
Who’s against him? Oh, everyone. The left-wing media, obviously, and the conservative media can’t risk loosing their jobs with Romney in charge!
