    The damaged Holocaust memorial in RivneRivne, Ukraine – Officials in Ukraine’s northwestern city of Rivne said that three young men were arrested for vandalizing a memorial to Holocaust victims in the city.

    The memorial to 17,500 Jewish citizens of Rivne murdered during the Nazi occupation in the 1940s was severely damaged on June 5 by vandals, who destroyed the tiles on the complex and arranged the broken tiles to make up vulgar and insulting words.

    They face up to four years in jail if found guilty.
