Adnan Gulshair el Shukrijumah, a 36-year-old Saudi who spent his teen years in Brooklyn, Called “Jaffar the Pilot” is in the running to take a prime leadership role after a US Predator drone in Pakistan took out No. 2 in command Abu Yahya al Libi Monday.
He has been on the FBI’s Most Wanted List since 2003 and is believed to have been involved in the foiled plot to bomb New York City’s subways near the 2009 anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
