The Siena College survey found Obama with a 59-35 percent lead over the former Massachusetts governor, up from 57-37 last month.
The June 3-6 telephone poll of 807 registered New York voters found a sizeable majority saying Democrat Obama would do a better job than Romney keeping the country safe from terrorism, fighting for middle class families, dealing with health care, improving the economy and resolving problems with Social Security and Medicare.
Smaller majorities also predicted Obama would outperform Romney in creating jobs, making the federal government work more effectively and addressing the national deficit, the poll found.

huh, because he has done such a great job up till now?
What a joke!
NY is always mindlessly democratic.
No matter how badly a democrat is nationwide, he still wins, with mindlessly blind democrats, in NY, especailly since the race is mostly the same race of many of the voters.
Not even in Harlem, I think they scewed up its 57/37 that he is a goner
I guess NY voters are too unintelligent to see what obama has done to the country. In fact, states like NY & CA where they need govt to run their lives & tax them to death, should be made a country bifnay atzmo.
Romney could carry New York if only he was black. Simple as that.

By the time his head has turned
We must all be very concerned
It’s still facing frontwards, isn’t it?
