The area covers the Atlantic Coast from Cape Hatteras, N.C., to just north of Boston.

U.S. Geological Survey scientists call the 600-mile swath a “hot spot” for climbing sea levels caused by global warming. Their study says that since 1990, sea levels in that region have been rising at an annual rate that’s three to four times faster than the global average.

Since then, Norfolk, Va.’s sea level has jumped about 5 inches, Philadelphia’s 4 inches and New York City’s 3 inches. The global average is 2 inches.

The study was published Sunday in the journal Nature Climate Change.

shoyn, nuchamul with this global warming bull manure.

I guess the water is too stupid to know its own rule and seek its own level??!?!??

No proof this is man made warming but at this rate my neighborhood will 4be under water in about 75 years.

According to data released on June 7, 2012 by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the United States just experienced the warmest spring, the warmest year-to-date, and the warmest 12-month period, since temperature records have been kept. The NOAA previously reported that over 15,000 temperature records were broken in the U.S. during March 2012. On March 15 alone, 593 record daily high temperatures were set or tied, along with 445 record warm low temperatures. In Chicago, temperatures soared past 80°F four days in a row — the earliest that has ever occurred, breaking a record set in mid-April, 1896. These records are not a one-time fluke. Temperatures have been increasing every decade since the 1970s, producing increasingly severe storms, floods, and wildfires, areas of drought, and other signs of climate change. Nine of the ten warmest years since temperature records have been kept in the U.S. around 1885 have occurred since the year 2000.
Yet, an alarming percentage of people still believe that climate change is nothing more than “liberal politics.” And this in spite of the fact that the vast majority of scientists, as indicated in over a thousand peer

Wow, after all those scandals with fake climate data and thousands scientists who believe there no man-made global warming, they are still yakking about it. Amazing…

This is from the DailyTech.com. It’s a science website. All four major global temperature tracking outlets — Hadley, NASA’s GISS, the UAH, and the RSS — have data showing that global temperatures have dropped big-time. Does this mean that Algore is out of a job? Does it mean that they should rescind his Nobel Peace Prize? Will Algore just jump on the cold bandwagon, or do something more fun? World temperatures, according to the Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction, is the chart that is exhibited here — and you can see the sharp drop over the last 5 years. It is a huge drop. As was reported , more snow and ice cover the northern hemisphere than at any time since 1966. The 12-month-long drop a few years ago– now, get this, because this is crucial — the drop in global temperatures this past few years has wiped out one century of warming. We went up one degree Celsius, we think, in 100 years, in one century. In one year (in 2007), it’s been wiped out.!!

    1,

Mark Levin, you’re one step below retarded.
Water levels around the world are never equal, which is why it was so difficult to build the panama canal!
As for sea levels rising, there are several islands throughout the world that have dissappeared under water in the past free years. This is an undisputed fact.

since they passed same gender marriage in NY, u have to wonder that perhaps Hashem would flood this city (or state) just like he did to by the mabbul when they similarly instituted marriage contracts between those of the same gender
