Las Vegas – Giuliani: Obama Is ‘An Unsuccessful Person’

    17

Las Vegas – Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani had harsh words for President Barack Obama during a campaign stop in Las Vegas, saying he has accomplished nothing and will turn the nation more socialist than France if re-elected.

“What do we want to elect, an unsuccessful person? We tried that, OK, we tried a person of no accomplishment,” Giuliani said. “Now let’s try something different, let’s try a man who has actually been successful in life.”

Giuliani told reporters Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney has strong convictions, and the health care overhaul he passed as Massachusetts governor isn’t a liability. Giuliani criticized Romney’s health care law last year because it served as a model for the federal health care overhaul that Republicans want repealed.

“I don’t think it matters what the difference is between the two,” Giuliani said of the Massachusetts and federal health care laws. “What matters is the future.”

Giuliani also downplayed comments he made last year suggesting Romney’s shifts on abortion, gay marriage and universal health care could be problematic.

“This is what happens in a campaign, people make statements, sometimes exaggerated, sometimes emotional,” Giuliani said. “Gov. Romney has very strong convictions. … There are times when you change your mind about things.”

During his stop in the state with the nation’s highest unemployment rate, Giuliani accused Obama of being anti-business and creating “thousands of pages of regulations” aimed at turning the country into a socialist government.

“Anybody in Las Vegas who is going to vote for him is out of their mind, now that’s probably true in the rest of the country, too,” Giuliani said. “He’s going to make France look like a low-tax country.”

Giuliani also admonished Chief Justice John Roberts for making “a terrible mistake” by breaking with the Supreme Court’s other conservative justices and upholding Obama’s health care law.

“He’s now given Congress the unlimited power to tax us,” Giuliani said.

It was not the first time Giuliani loaned his political star power to the Romney campaign. He notably joined Romney for a pizza break with some New York City firefighters in May. Giuliani was mayor when terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center’s twin towers in 2001.

Giuliani and Romney were rivals in the 2008 Republican presidential primary.

We have news for you Rudy Giuliani he’s a lot more successful in life then you will ever be.

He was a united state senator and is currently the president of the united states of america.(And the first black president)

You have been unsuccessful at trying to win over the american people he has.

You were the one who decided not to evacuate the world trade center on 911 which resulted in thousands of deaths.

You were the one who decided to let the path train run 911 under the WTC which resulted in people dying.

You were in charge on 911 when the NYPD and FDNY were fighting around instead of focusing only on rescuing lives.

The NYC emergency personal were not equipped with communications that were working properly on 911 which resulted in the death of people.

So when you have your success story written let us all know.

We live in a free country and I respectfully disagree with you guys.
If were going to call the president a looser when your name is Giuliani sorry I’m not a person who listens to fox news all day and I don’t listen to abc radio all day.
Rudy was a good mayor but on a national level he’s been a big time looser.

Remind me please: who was elected President of the United States of America and who never made it further than being Mayor of New York?

Looking in from the outside, personally I would say the former was the more “successful” of the two.

But hey ho, I’m just a foreigner, as I said just looking dispassionately from the outside. What do I know?

…..Oh, and by the way, #1 , attaining the presidency is only an achievement if you DO SOMETHING WITH IT! Wasting the opportunity of a lifetime renders one UNSUCCESSFUL and INEFFECTIVE. We all lose… Indeed, we all have lost.

Anyone being in a position of unlimited power, and wasting that opportunity is rightfully called an unsuccessful person. On the other hand someone who tried but was never given the opportunity can not be labeled as such.

because you don’t agree with the presidents polices it does not make him unsuccessful.
he has lowered taxes for the 99 percent of Americans who need it.
he passed health care reform which republicans never did cause they don’t care about the middle class. is it perfect no but better than the nothing republicans have ever done.
he has deported more illegals then bush in 8 years.
he has killed more terrorists then bush in 8 years.
he killed OBL sorry, not bush.
he took over a mess of bush and yes the private sector is creating jobs other than all the republican governors cutting jobs so that the unemployment numbers stay up.
he is any time as capable of being called a successful president after 8 years of an idiot that sat on that seat.
oh sorry bush passed ‘no child left behind’ what a major success and led this country into two wars by lying.
and lets not forget that obama gave Israel bombs that bush refused to. and has increased the funding every single year.
bottom line he has had a lot more success than rudy will ever have.
go back and listen to fox news and have a great day.

I hope they keep repeating that Obama got Osama,
Because even president Mickey mouse would take him out under those circumstances. After losing 3000 Americans, no president dared not taking him.
    Simple, case closed.

Poster #1 is completely wrong about Giuliani. However, Giuliani is just as wrong about Obama. Unfortunately, Obama has been one of the most successful President’s in our Nation’s history!

He wanted to repeal “DADT”. Done.
He wanted to kill Bin Laden. Done.
He wanted to pull our troops out of Iraq. Done.
He wanted to institute his healthcare plan. Done.
He wanted to put more women on the Supreme Court. Done.

In fact…. there isn’t much he wanted to do that he DIDN’T or COULDN’T do. If doing nearly everything you say you are going to do is success, then he was pretty successful!

Look Rudy, we need Obama out, but we’re never going to get there if you make up lies and distort the facts. Only the talk-radio and cable-news idiots fall for that. The educated Conservatives and the educated “center” (whatever that means) are far more interested in facts.
