Delegates are set to fly in from the US for the event, which a Republican source said would be “a small meeting, but a big fundraiser.”

Immediately after the fundraising meeting, Romney will host a conference in Jerusalem, where he will lay out his Middle East policy.

The US sends billions to israel each year and then the presidential candidate goes to israel to get the money back. Am I missing something?

Mitt is in dire need of a sensible Jewish advisor that knows some basic halacha.

Well, hopefully we’ll all be eating fleishigs this year anyway. All together. And articles like this won’t mean anything.

WWI started on tisha b’av and the final; solution or Endloesung started on Tisha b’av in 1942 with the deportation of Jews from Warsaw to Treblinka. Put the blame on the “tzionym” or chilonim but your Republican savior will find grace in some of you too.

Btw, July 29th is on Sunday the nidcha of Tisha B’av. This dinner will take place in the eve when the fast is over. We will be allowed to do everything then from laundry to music since it’ll be the 11th of AV.
    so there is no problem.
