Obama’s campaign released a five-minute video of the president’s address Wednesday to members of his staff at his Chicago headquarters. The short speech came a day after he won re-election.

The president talks about his work as a community organizer in Chicago and tells staffers and volunteers that they will do “amazing things” in their lives.

Obama becomes emotional when he says that even before the election results, he felt the work he had done “had come full circle.” He tells staff members that he is proud of the work they did, then pauses to wipe away tears.

Whether or not you agree with all his policies, its clear that his Chicago political organizations was nothing short of brilliant and was responsible for defining Romney in a way he could never recover from. While the Republicans had a gazillion dollars from the Koch brothers, Adelson et. al under Citizens United, Obama had a ground game and local campaign staff who focused on each vote and worked hard to get it. Kol Hakovod to David Axelrod, Jim Masena and the Chicago crew who delivered the voters when it counted.

I’m afraid it’s the American people who will be wiping away their tears over the next four years under Obama.

Regarding the economy: from 2002-2008 the auto industry was in terrible shape! Companies were sending mid-level jobs overseas and the jobs that were available were few and far between mostly short term contracts. In between contracts there was a lot of down time.

Two years ago things started to turn around. I have a great job now and recruiters are calling every day, so there are jobs all over the country that need to be filled.

In addition to the despicable character attacks against Obama, (many going back over five years), at the last minute the “showman” Donald Trump, came up with a brilliant over, that he will donate $5,000,000, if Obama will reveal certain personal records. Even Barbara Walters, who was a personal friend of Trump, went on tv, and stated “Donald, stop it”. Why doesn’t trump reveal the real reason that he was rejected by the Selective Service in 1968? After enjoying several student deferments, he claimed that “he had a high lottery number”. His claim was recently disproven, through a Freedom of Information Act search. It was revealed that he was rejected by the Selective Service, after taking a physical exam. However, he has never given further details. Until Trump is forthcoming with the latter information, he is in no position to demand personal information from Obama.

Now that he is elected, we have a duty to support him as best we can. We are all in the same boat.
