Ambassador Vitaly Churkin says Morocco had circulated a proposed press statement since last Thursday but foot-dragging by one council member means it “is still bogged down.”

Churkin says “To me, it looks like a filibuster attempt.”

He would not tell reporters outside the Security Council on Monday which nation was blocking the press statement, which must be adopted unanimously.

But he says anyone guessing it was the United States would be “a connoisseur” of Security Council politics.

Churkin says Russia might introduce a resolution calling for a cease-fire and for the Palestinians and Israelis to resume peace talks.

What chutzpah! Over 30,000 Syrians haven been killed during the last 18 months (not to metnion the 100,000 Chechens he murdered in the mid 1990s) and Russia has blocked every resolution at the U.N. Yet, after less than a week, it is ready to condemn Israel. Putin is a snake. He has photo ops with Rabbis, but is really dangerous.

Russia was the only country to block any action against Syria by The Security Council from killing it’s own people has the nerve to call actions against Israel. That a joke. Russia supplies arms, technical advise to the worlds terrorist,as well as nuclear facilities to Iran. What a world we live in today. No ones seems to comprehend that actions done today, will have deadly consequences tomorrow.

History repeats itself. In 1956, Russia condemned Israel’s operations in Sinai while at the same time Russia was crushing the Hungarians.

Russia can wait a month. The world has waited 18 months as they continued to filibuster UNSC for their Syrian friends.

What the hill does Russia know about the Middle East? He only heard it from CNN or Tass? And like our previous commenters say- why jump the gun and go out of order? First, start your yelling at Syria.
