Aberdeen, NC – Baby supply company Kolcraft Enterprises Inc. is recalling more than 425,000 play yards after a 10-month old boy was strangled, a government safety agency announced Thursday.
The boy was inside the company’s Sesame Beginnings Travel Play Yard and the restraint strap from the elevated changing table hung down into the main play area and strangled him, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The company is now recalling a dozen different types of play yards with changing table attachments that have that type of strap.
The play yards were manufactured in China.
The play yards were sold around the country between January 2001 and September 2007. To receive a free replacement strap for the changing tables and a free kit to secure the rocking cradle, call Kolcraft at 888-655-8484.
Let us get real;
1, The Chinese allow one child per family, not two.
2, The Chinese do not tak ebackthe returns, they are probably buried in the US landfills.
3, Some recalls are due to engineering mastakes and poor planning. Most recalls are because of lead paint or wrong screws put in which are probably Chinese management mistakes.
I could tell you that as an importer of Italian clothing at “Natan Borlam’s” there are many things that need to be watched over. The issue is that the Chinese will usually make the decision that works for them even if it kills or harms others. This is where they differ from Italians.
Darn! Another recall?
I know China is a big country but where on earth will they store all the recalls of garbage they sent to America over the last few months?
If you have a third child in China the Chinese government kills the baby because there ain’t enough room in the country.
So what will China do with all the returns of PET FOOD,cat food, toothpaste, cribs, carriages, play pens, furniture, toys, Elmos, Barby dolls, diapers, silverware, lead paint and go–d knows what else?
Now how would you like to work in China as the lady in charge of returns?!!!
