Florida police officers are expected to arrive in Toronto on Sunday to interview friends, family, acquaintances, and business associates of the slain Orthodox Jewish couple.

Investigators have remained tight-lipped about the ongoing investigation, but it seems that that the well-liked couple may have been deliberately targeted and were not victims of a home invasion as previously speculated.

“We’re trying to figure out who their business associates were, their neighbors. Were they liked? Were they disliked?” Hallandale Beach Police Chief Dwayne Flournoy told the Sun News Network (http://bit.ly/WqWScc). Flournoy said investigators have not ruled out any possibilities in the “complicated” case. “If they were targeted, we’re not releasing that information. Right now, everything is in the realm of possibility,” he said.
